Introduction to the Sector - Brisbane 04 June 2026 ACFID is hosting this one-day introductory workshop for staff, board members, and other personnel who are new to the International Development and Humanitarian Sector. This participatory face-to-face workshop will include an overview of the history of international development and humanitarian action; an introduction to ACFID’s Code and role in the sector; guest speakers from DFAT and ACFID member organisations; and, opportunities for networking and further learning. 22 July 2026 ACFID CEO Connects are a new series of in-person networking events designed exclusively for CEOs and senior leaders of ACFID member organisations. Held up to three times a year in key locations including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide, these gatherings will offer a unique opportunity to share innovative practices, explore strategic challenges, and strengthening leadership connections. The agenda for this first event will be finalised in early 2026, and circulated to registrants. The event will include updates from ACFID CEO, Matthew Maury. Nibbles will be provided.
