CANA/ACFID member consultation with DCCEEW on access to climate finance - COP31

Event Details

As part of the COP31 modalities, Australia, in partnership with Pacific Island countries, will hold a session at COP31 focused on the climate finance needs of Small Island Developing States. The session will provide a platform for pledges to the Pacific Resilience Facility.
Australia and Pacific Island countries are consulting on an action plan to address the systemic and structural barriers to accessing climate finance ahead of COP31. The aim is to identify practical, pragmatic improvements to the existing international climate finance architecture that will make climate finance more accessible for Small Island Developing States and Least Developed Countries.
Please see the linked PowerPoint (A2F slides for consultation), which summarises the feedback DCCEEW heard during its consultations on this issue at Bonn.
