Navanita Bhattacharya has over three decades of experience addressing the intersections of racial, gender, economic, and social injustices, her career has spanned multiple countries in Asia, Africa and Oceania.
Specialising in place-based, justice-focused, anti-racist and anti-oppressive approaches, Navanita loves co-designing programs with those most impacted and building narratives that change status-quo. She has lived in more than 10 countries and worked in more than 38, with various organisations including UNICEF, UNDP, Oxfam, and World Vision.
Driven by a deep-rooted belief in the interconnectedness of the personal, political, and professional spheres, Navanita approaches her personal life and paid work with a liberatory, anti-colonial, anti-racist, and anti-oppressive lens. She is an unapologetic feminist and a perfectly imperfect parent whose parenting is work-in-progress.
