ACFID’s Locally Led Action Community of Practice invites members to a special session with Dylan Matthews (Peace Direct) to discuss the recently launched Call to Action on Supporting Locally Led Development.

The Call to Action is a collective appeal to accelerate progress on locally led development by turning existing commitments into practical changes that place local actors at the centre of development efforts. Coordinated by Peace Direct and launched at the OECD Future of International Development Conference in May 2026, it is grounded in the OECD’s Guidelines for Supporting Locally Led Development.

As an early endorser, DFAT has demonstrated Australia’s commitment to this agenda, and ACFID and its members are invited to add their support.
